Culturepreneurs

CULTUREPRENEURS

The term "culturepreneur" is a portmanteau of "culture" and "entrepreneur," indicating an individual who creates a business within the cultural sector or whose business model is focused on cultural enrichment or services. This can include a wide array of activities such as art, music, literature, dance, heritage, media, journalism, and creative services. Culturepreneurs are often involved in promoting cultural awareness, sustaining traditional crafts, or innovating within cultural expressions for contemporary markets.

Our socially inclusive and equitable incubator for professionals, entrepreneurs, and intrapreneurs in the Creative Economy is cultivating the pipeline for the next generation of film, fashion, artists, journalists, entertainment, sports, and intermediaries with values based culture at our core.

Culturepreneurs are recognized for their role in the creative economy, contributing to the diversity of cultural expressions and often supporting the sustainability of local cultures and economies. They may rely on a combination of entrepreneurial skills, cultural knowledge, and creative passion to build their enterprises.
